How to Help More People Without Burning Yourself Out
As entrepreneurs, we wear countless hats—visionary, executor, problem solver, and sometimes even firefighter. Our days are packed with decisions, responsibilities, and an endless stream of people seeking our expertise. While it’s fulfilling to help others, it doesn’t take long to realize that saying “yes” to everything can burn us out and pull focus away from what really matters—serving our clients at the highest level so that we can make a living.
Over the past few months, I’ve experienced this firsthand. Between working with my CRM clients and finalizing my Networking Success Pack landing page, my schedule became overwhelming. I had to let go of my beloved "zero inbox" mindset—a system I’ve followed religiously for years—and allow emails to pile up. That’s when I noticed something interesting: many of these emails were asking the same types of CRM "how to" questions.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I love helping others. But as my inbox filled with “how-to” questions, I realized that while I wanted to provide answers to everyone, I physically couldn’t. Like you, I’ve got a business to run, clients to care for, and goals to achieve. That led me to an important epiphany: What if I could create a scalable solution that helps more people while freeing up my time to focus on my core work?
The Power of Scalable Solutions: My Journey to Building a CRM Training Group
That lightbulb moment inspired me to create something new—an online membership group called CRM Training. This group is a hub for entrepreneurs, coaches, and business owners where they can access a growing video training library that answers common CRM questions. Instead of answering the same inquiries over and over, I poured my knowledge into easy-to-follow growing video library that members can access at their convenience.
Members now have the tools to learn and grow, and I’ve gained back valuable hours in my day to focus on consulting clients and developing even better CRM strategies. It’s a win-win that allows me to serve more people without sacrificing the quality of my work for those who rely on me most.
Here’s the truth: Time is your most valuable resource as an entrepreneur. You could spend hours, maybe even years, trying to figure out the technical side of your business on your own. Or, you could lean on someone who’s already done the trial-and-error work for you. I’ve spent years mastering CRMs and earning the HighLevel certification so you don’t have to.
By creating this group, I'm not only simplifying the lives for those who want to learn CRMs but have also given myself the breathing room to focus on what I do best. And that’s a point I want to emphasize—sometimes, the best way to help others is to step back, reimagine the problem, and create a solution that benefits everyone.
Why You Should Consider Scalable Solutions in Your Business
I didn’t set out to create a membership group—it wasn’t on my roadmap. But sometimes, the best ideas come from unexpected challenges. This experience has taught me an important lesson: When you feel stretched thin, ask yourself, “How can I help people in a way that doesn’t sacrifice my capacity to do great work?”
For some, the answer might be building an online course. For others, it could be creating templates, automating workflows, or outsourcing tasks to a trusted partner. Whatever it is, the key lies in finding a way to multiply your impact without multiplying your workload.
Here’s why this approach matters:
- Time is finite. Every moment you spend answering the same question or solving the same problem is time you’re not spending on growth, innovation, or high-priority work.
- Your expertise is valuable. By offering your knowledge in a scalable format, you’re positioning yourself as a resourceful leader while also empowering others to succeed.
- It’s okay to say no. Delegating or automating parts of your work doesn’t make you less generous; it makes you smarter about how you give.
Let’s Spark Some Ideas Together
I wrote this article because I know so many entrepreneurs who, like me, struggle to balance their desire to help others with the demands of running a business. It’s okay to say no to things that don’t align with your priorities. But what if you could create a solution that says “yes” to others while protecting your time and energy? That’s where the magic happens.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to hear from you. What are some scalable solutions you’ve thought about creating? Have you already implemented one that’s made a difference in your business? Let’s keep this conversation going—it’s through sharing and collaboration that we spark new ideas and grow together.
